Fablesh Creator Agreement
You keep the copyright and everything else you own. You give Fablesh a free right to use your music on its own services, and you stay free to put it anywhere else. You can take it back at any time.
Version 2026-10-15
1. What this is
This agreement is between you and Media Rosenqvist, which operates Fablesh. It covers everything you upload: recordings, podcast episodes, artwork, text and anything else you put here.
It is written to be read. If a sentence in it is unclear, that is a fault in the sentence, and you should ask us to fix it rather than guess what it means.
2. You keep what you make
You own your work and you keep owning it. Nothing here transfers your copyright, your master recordings, your publishing rights, or your name.
Fablesh does not become your label, your publisher or your manager by you making an account.
3. What you let us do
You give Fablesh a licence to do these specific things with what you upload, and nothing beyond them:
It is royalty-free in both directions: Fablesh pays you nothing for it, and charges you nothing for it.
It is not exclusive. You are free to release, license, sell and distribute your work anywhere else, at the same time — Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, other radio, a label — and Fablesh will never ask you to choose.
Fablesh does not own your music because you uploaded it. Ownership only changes hands if you sign a full deal with the label, and that is a separate written contract, never this agreement.
4. What you do not give us
This licence does not let Fablesh do any of the following without asking you separately and getting a yes:
Rights held by a collecting society are not yours to give away here and this agreement does not try to take them. If you are a member of STIM, SAMI, PRS, ASCAP or similar, your arrangement with them is unchanged, and any obligation Fablesh has to them is Fablesh's to meet.
We ask when you accept whether you are affiliated to a society, so that any licence Fablesh needs is in place before your work goes into rotation. That is our job to sort out, not yours to chase us about.
4a. IFPI and the rights in the recording
The producer's share of public-performance money for a recording — paid in Sweden through IFPI — belongs to whoever owns the master recording.
Fablesh and Crystal Pier Records claim with IFPI only the recordings they own themselves, and those of artists signed to them under a separate written label contract. Everyone else's recordings are never claimed by us; that money is yours to claim, through IFPI, your distributor or your own label.
When you accept, we ask whether you, your label or your distributor already claim your recordings with IFPI, so that no recording is ever claimed twice.
If you are signed to Crystal Pier Records or Fablesh, you can tick a separate box to let the label claim your recordings with IFPI on the terms of your label contract. It is optional, you can withdraw it at any time, and it changes nothing for anyone who is not signed.
4b. Services Fablesh works with
Fablesh points you to and works alongside services it does not run: DistroKid and other distributors, Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and others. When you use them, their terms, prices and decisions apply, not ours, and Fablesh is not responsible for what they do with your music or for their availability.
Links from Fablesh to them are for your convenience. An affiliate link may earn Fablesh a commission, and is marked when it does.
5. Taking it back
You can withdraw any work, or close your account, at any time and without giving a reason. It takes effect at once.
When you do, Fablesh will within 7 days remove it from the catalogue, the player and every radio rotation, and delete the stored files within 30 days.
Two things cannot be undone, and it is honest to say so. A broadcast that has already gone out has gone out. And a copy someone else already downloaded or cached is not ours to reach.
Anything Fablesh must keep by law — a payment record, for example — is kept for exactly as long as the law requires and used for nothing else.
6. What you are promising us
By uploading, you are telling us that:
If you are not sure whether you have the right to upload something, do not upload it yet. Ask us and we will help you find out.
7. AI, said out loud
Fablesh welcomes music made with AI. It does not welcome music that pretends not to be.
If a work was generated or substantially assisted by AI, mark it. The tools are in the upload form and the flag is shown on the page — not as a warning, as a fact.
Never upload a voice, likeness or performance style that imitates a real, identifiable person without their written permission. This is the one rule where a first breach can mean immediate removal and account closure.
Fablesh will not present anything AI-generated as the work of a human, and will not invent an audience: there are no AI listeners, AI followers or AI comments on this platform, and there never will be.
8. If something goes wrong
If someone credibly claims your upload infringes their rights, Fablesh may take it down while the claim is looked at. You will be told what the claim is and who made it, and you can answer. If the claim does not hold up, it goes back.
If a claim against Fablesh is caused by you uploading something you did not have the right to upload, you are responsible for it. Fablesh will tell you about the claim promptly, will not settle it without talking to you, and will let you take over the defence if you want to.
Fablesh is provided as it is. Nobody here promises the service will never be down or never lose a file, and Fablesh is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in this paragraph limits liability that cannot be limited under Swedish law — including for death, personal injury, or our own gross negligence or intent.
9. Money
Today, uploading and being played on Fablesh costs nothing and pays nothing. The paid parts of Fablesh — AI generation credits, subscriptions — are separate from this agreement and always show their price before you spend anything.
If Fablesh ever starts earning money from your work, through advertising on the stations or a paid tier that includes the catalogue, that is a change in the bargain and not something to slip into a terms update. We will come back and ask, and nothing of yours will be used that way until you have said yes.
10. Changing this agreement
A version of this agreement is identified by its date and by a hash of its exact words, and both are recorded when you accept.
If the meaning changes, you will be asked to accept the new version. Until you do, the version you accepted is the one that governs your work. You will not be opted into a new bargain by continuing to use the site.
If you decline a new version, you can withdraw your work under §5. Nothing is held hostage.
11. Law, and reaching a person
Swedish law applies and Swedish courts decide disputes. If you are a consumer, this does not remove protections you have under the law of the country you live in — including the right to have an unreasonable term set aside under §36 of the Swedish Contracts Act.
You can reach a person at hello@fablesh.com. A question about this agreement gets an answer from someone, not a form.
