Your space (My Happy Place)

What you see when you sign in, and where everything in your own space lives.

Where signing in takes you

My Happy Place is your own corner of Fablesh. It is short on purpose: what has happened since you were last here, anything waiting for your answer, how your music did this week, the latest from the Lobby, your newest works and a row of tools. A section with nothing to say simply isn't shown.

At the top you can also see whether you have a public profile. If you haven't chosen a handle yet, or your profile is private, nobody else can see it. Once it is public, you can open it and see it the way others do.

Needs your attention

When someone wants to connect, has written to you, has invited you to a project or has credited you on a work, it shows up at the top of the page with a button to answer.

If you are just starting

A short checklist helps you get going: complete your profile, add your first work (or claim your artist name if your music is already in the catalogue), say hello in the Lobby, and get your first listeners. Each step ticks itself off when it is actually done.

The places in your space

  • Works — everything you have made, what each item is and who can see it, plus your play statistics.
  • Projects — private rooms for making one thing together.
  • Messages — your conversations with your contacts.
  • Lobby — the one room everybody on Fablesh shares.
  • People — your contacts, and a search for new ones.
  • Library — your playlists and the songs you have liked.

On a computer these sit in a row under the main menu, with a Create menu at the end for uploading music, starting a new creation or a new podcast.

On your phone

On a small screen the row moves to a tab bar at the bottom, where your thumb reaches: Home, Messages, Projects and Lobby. More opens Works, People, Library and the Create actions. A number on Messages or Projects means someone is waiting for you.
